This song is a great testament to the yearning caused by the Holy Spirit in believers in times of dryness.

Becoming the Archetype - How Great Thou Art

today at Extreme Noise, I got the Force Fed Glass split 7” with The Fall of Leningrad, and a couple free Deathwish stickers.
And then after a quick hop over to savers, I picked up Zao’s “Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest!” All in all, a pretty stellar couple of hours.

and then my buddy and I got free LPs from this band called Teargas - The Way of All Flesh.  They said they were warped, but they played fine.  However they just came in the white paper jackets, so we didn’t get that awesome artwork. c’est la vie… 

and that Dead Beat album was one of those instances where I buy music based solely on the art.  Really professional grade design, and and AWESOME almost zine- like insert.
I’m really pleased with it.  But there’s no digital download, and it’s really hard to find any links for this online, so I might have to rip the vinyl at MCAD’s library.

Hessian - “Blood of Elijah” off of their self titled ep

I’ve probably shown these guys before, but they are super rad.  At the risk of stealing any originality from their sound, this is what you would get if you crossed Zao and Converge.

Even if it seems like it’s nothing necessarily “new,”  you at least get a solid album full of songs in a style you like.
